Hi all, I have an Alienware 15 R2 bought in 2016. It already has a 1tb HDD and 128gb SSD. I want to install a new SSD and was thinking about this. On Dell website they provide following information: 3x SATA III 6Gb/s Ports. Following configurations can be used: 1x 2.5" SATA I/II/III Solid State or Mechanical Hard Drives. 4x M2 NGFF TLC SSD I have an Alienware 15 R2 in which i just installed a SanDisk SD8SN8U-512G-1122 X400 M.2 2280 512GB Internal SSD. It is recognized in the bios as secondary HDD and not as an M.2 ssd. I would like to set this SSD as my main boot drive and use the original 1TB hd that came with it as storage.
